Get a Clinical Breast Examination at VRX Diagno Lounge, Goregaon West — a structured physical examination of the breasts and underarm by a trained clinician. Detects lumps, skin changes, and nipple findings; teaches self-examination. Confidential, sensitive consultation.
The Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) is a structured physical exam by a trained clinician that systematically inspects and palpates the breasts and underarms. It detects lumps, skin changes, nipple discharge, and lymph-node enlargement, and complements imaging tests like mammography and ultrasound. The visit also includes teaching breast self-examination (BSE) and discussing personal risk and screening schedule.
Detects lumps from 1 cm and above; characterises mobility, edges, tenderness
Dimpling, retraction, peau d’orange, eczematous nipple
Spontaneous, blood-stained, or single-duct discharge — needs workup
Palpates axilla for enlarged or hard nodes
New, recent asymmetry can be a clue to underlying mass
Personal & family-history-based screening plan
Annual clinical breast exam recommended
Self-detected — needs structured exam
Especially blood-stained or spontaneous
Earlier and more frequent screening
Correlate mammography / USG with palpation
Some IVF protocols include CBE

A normal exam with no lumps, skin changes, or lymph-node enlargement is reassuring. Continue routine yearly screening if you have risk factors.
Any abnormal finding warrants imaging — ultrasound and/or mammography — and further evaluation, including possible biopsy. Your physician will correlate with symptoms and history.
Every report is reviewed by an experienced pathologist with clear interpretation and clinical comment.
